  • 3 Indian cooks and a helping Russian staff of more than 20 persons work in this mess.
  • High quality Indian Vegetarian and Indian Non-Vegetarian food is available.
  • Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food is cooked and served separately.

  • Food is served two times a day i.e. Lunch and Dinner.

Mess Fee:

Mess fee is announced in the beginning of every academic year for that academic year.

  • Lunch:
    • Vegetables - 1 Bowl
    • Dal - 1 Bowl
    • Curd - 1 Bowl
    • 4 Chapatis OR 3 Chapatis and 1 Plate Rice
  • Dinner:
    • 2 Vegetables - 1 Bowl each
    • Curd - 1 Bowl
    • 4 Chapatis OR 3 Chapatis and 1 Plate Rice
    • Sweet dishes twice a week i.e. on Thursdays and Sundays.
    • Non Vegetarian Dish - 1 Plate (In dinner on Non Vegetarian days for Non Vegetarians i.e. on Wednesdays and Saturdays)

Rules and regulations for dining in Mess:

  • Students, joining the mess, have to abide by the following rules.
  • Mess is not compulsory, students can cook their food themselves in the kitchens provided in the hostel.
  • Mess fee has to be paid every year for the whole academic year before the 15th of September of that academic year. Fee will be paid only in Russia and will be paid only in cash. No Bank drafts, Bank cheques and Bank orders will be accepted.
  • A Student, who did not join mess initially, can join mess any time during the academic year and will pay the mess fee from the date of joining for the rest of the academic year.The Student has to inform about joining the mess minimum 15 days before.
  • A Student is free to leave mess any time he wishes, but the mess fee will not be refunded to the student.
  • A Student may have his meals during the mess hours only, no food will be served before or after the opening hours of mess.
  • Students may have their meals only in dining hall of mess. Students are not allowed to take food out of mess.
  • Students should obey the instructions of mess supervisor.
  • Students are expected not to waste food.
  • If a student breaks any utensil, then he has to pay for it.
  • Administration of mess has right to discontinue providing mess services to any student.
  • If any unexpected unfavorable circumstances arise, then administration of mess will have right to close the mess.
  • Administration of mess has right to change the fee for mess in accordance to the change of market rates of food products or other factors affecting the fee.
